I'm now convinced that my legs are no longer blue-white - 3 days exposure to daylight after 20+ years of being covered up, I'm surprised there's any melanin-producing capability left to be honest. So if the white flash you spotted had a bluish tinge, it was my legs and not any impostors from the other side of the country.
