Oh dear,I hope that you have a more cheerful weekend! xx
The big mistake was to attempt to go shoe shopping. And not, I hasten to add, for myself.
Having to take cold showers in 40° heat when you own a swimming pool, but it has a hole in the bottom?

Nope, you’re getting no sympathy at all for that one, sorry.
How about London. In the rain. Waiting for a train. That’s not going to come because there are delays. After a long week in the office.
Actually, I rather miss the ‘after a long week in the office (that is now over)’ feeling, strange to say. It’s the ‘at the start of a long week at the office’ part I don’t miss at all.
I take it you’re not talking about this?
