Great story – I miss squirrels, even the grey variety. Enjoyed them for four years in Florida, until one bit me. Still, I’d love one to try a huge *BOING*, and hop past me down here in NZ. Lucky you.

I sympathise about not having a camera to hand as I’ve yet to get any photos of the squirrels at home. The other morning I was standing outside the back door when one ‘boinged’ to within a few feet of me and of course I was cameraless!
