Safe Journey! -- hope you and your luggage and your intact car make it safely back home, and that everything at home is just the way you left it. You plan to sleep for a week once you get back, right?

Go with the flow! And don't let the Daily Mail colour your view of a world journey :)
I once left a snowy Manchester and flew to Hawaii, unfortunately my luggage didn't. I was somewhat over dressed on arrival. I had to borrow my male travelling companions clothes (and he wasn't even my husband!)

Could've been worse. Your reservations could've been for yesterday. You must lead a charmed life. All of your many transportations will probably go off without a hitch and, in spite of chaos swirling all around you and taunting notwithstanding, the only hardship you will have suffered is likely to be a knackered finger.

Unless...

Are you going to have to stop along the way somewhere to purchase new jeans? Or will you give the old standbys a little time to redeem themselves by miraculously returning to their familiar fit?

Here's wishing you and the other half a safe and smooth trip home...including all its many legs and various methods of transport. Because, even with all going perfectly, that itinerary looks so exhausting that it will certainly take more than the rest of the year to recover from it. Still, well worth it, I'm sure. Happy Holidays!
