Not trying to look on the bleak side but according to my crystal ball when it snows this winter I see that same gutter falling down again

Thinking back, the gutter in question replaced one that fell in last year’s horrendous weather – along with half the gutters in the country, it would seem. Clearly, competent gutter fitters would be at a premium

At least you still have gutters– some rocket scientist cured the leaves blocking the gutter problem at the house I rent by taking the gutters down. Now the fascia boards and soffits are rotting. Gutterly ridiculous. .

It,s probably those Scots being tight with their money again and cutting down on the number of gutter brackets causing the gutter to twist out of alignment when you have heavier rain due to the weight of the water. Otherwise you have a bad case of subsidence!

You don’t get any rain there in Scotland do you? Why on earth would you need gutters? Seems a waste. Especially if installed by idiots.
Maybe that’s harsh.
