My goodness, that is one soggy landscape. I can’t help thinking there is some flaw in the design of that bridge, or there is something about it I have not understood. Footbridges over roads and railways do have a tendency to go up steeply then over. But this concept does not work so well on rivers.. anyways..

A spray bottle, set on “piercing stream” if that’s possible, with just a hint of vinegar, might cure your cat of getting on the counters. Seems mean I know, but they don’t like it.
It usually comes down to whoever doesn’t like whatever the most.
Hopefully the humans will prevail.

If that 4×4 had been tempted, you might not have just had an astounding post to blog but syndicate rights on the 10 o’clock News and all tomorrow’s front pages. Very impressive photos anyway. Love that cat. My favourite is the plughole drain. Amazing.
