Top Tips for Cyclists

When you’re heading home from the pub with the latest Met Office severe weather warnings ringing in your ears (I mean, seriously, it would be easier if they just told us when they weren’t expecting severe weather and leave it at that) and you spot the following dramatic cloud ahead

Possibly your top priority should be getting your apocalypse-proof jacket out of the bag, rather than the camera phone…

Although, as it happens, I made it back in time.

    I could have done both, I suppose, but it was so muggy I ended up drenched with sweat anyway

    We’ve been having funnel clouds here. Its very not good for cycling. Too much wind, and/ or rain, and/or brilliant muggy sunshine.

    Thanks for making the potential sacrifice and taking the picture. When I’m out cycling it always seems to start raining when I’m close to the apartment, so close, in fact that I’m never sure if I’ll get wetter by stopping to out on a raincoat or just trying to race back…
