Bursting

Less than a week ago, I noticed the blackthorn buds were just about to burst into life

Coming home from a brief stay in Glasgow I noticed they had burst.

    I envy you your green-all-year-round grass. Here, the grass dies in the fall, like pretty much everything else, but then I guess that’s what comes of living in semi-arid lands . . .
