Outstaying its Welcome

Spring is almost around the corner, and I feel I should be bored of the snow by now, but we woke up this morning to another inch or so and somehow I just can’t manage it.

It helps that it’s actually warm – well, in the sunshine – and still and bright and everything is melting fast

It’s just that this is what my new veg plot looks like. I don’t think I’ll be planting any parsnips any time soon…

Gosh, I’m so jealous. I’m in totally the wrong place this year, clearly: all we’ve had is endless rain. Spring is finally springing here, though, and I can’t wait. Of course, I’ll soon be whingeing that it’s too hot. Such is the life of a redhead.

    John – thanks
Katja – oops, looks like you got our weather by mistake. Enjoy! (we don’t want it back)
