Riddle me this

If we have snails all over our windows:

snails on windows

Walls:

snails on house wall

And even our door:

snail on door

Why don’t the buggers eat all the plants busily growing up through our cobbles and all over the gravel?

Also, where are all the thrushes when you need them?

Perhaps we should take up snail farming

We have never seen them before.

That’s truly bizarre. I’ve seen snails in odd places when we lived in Puerto Rico, but I figured it had something to do with the location and the heat. Is your climate change getting that drastic?
    Are they after the cat??
    Are they edible?
    Good luck with all that.

I saw snails all over wire fences in Provence in September, when it’s the dry season. I don’t get it.

  4. I saw the neighbours chicken running across the lawn with a big juicy snail in its beak. Our hens don’t seem to have a taste for them, maybe we feed them too well.

  5. disgruntled says:

Ah, given the landlord’s hens pay us a visit every afternoon, perhaps the snails are trying to get away from them?
